BLURRED LINES

a fun and bold yet simple print design for Fashion, Theater and Home Textiles

Gestalterischer Vorkurs HSLU D&K

2019

The initial material for the print «Blurred Lines» was a barrier tape. The many properties of it, such as its transparency, changeability and above all its brilliance, made the tape an interesting material to work with. This pattern is the result of a series of analog experiments. Inspired by Afro-Futurism and African Wax Prints, I realized and staged the samples in two different settings.
