The building planned for the Suurstoffi site in Rotkreuz is characterized by its visual lightness. To emphasize this aspect, the analysis of the material paper was central to the development of the design. The versatile experiments with folding, tearing, burning etc. were translated into design proposals. The following proposal is based on the miniature worlds that emerge when paper is scrunched up. Light plays a central aspect and was considered in the color world and in the proposed choice of technique. Because in combination with the blinds down and a single color screen print, the incoming light is to be transformed into a gentle shadow play.
