Textile and costume design for an audio-visual performance. "Verklärte Nacht" encourages us to immerse ourselves in our own world of thoughts. It addresses the reality of an emptiness in our own existence and the realization that everyone carries a certain loneliness deep within them - the melancholy of our being.

The costumes are designed to evoke the feeling of being embraced by the fog. As the lighting design is an important aspect of the performance, the costumes should complement the interplay of light.
